3560 Encapsulation failed

Hello Everyone :)

I recently got a cisco 3560 from cables and kits, and when I was looking at the port statistics I noticed that I had some Encap Failures. Ill post the info below: Also is this something that i should be worried about or is it normal? Thanks :)

This not an issue, as long as they are not increasing gradually, ( if this is old version of IOS, check the show interface fas 0./0)

 

ip broadcast enabled ? or disabled ?

 

 

encapsulation failed

Usually indicates that the router had no ARP request entry and therefore did not send a datagram.
