Hello All,
We're getting a PIX-525 pair ready for a new Internet access point and installed latest S/W (PIX 7.11 & ASDM 5.11). With no config (but basic connectivity through inside), whenever I enable the HTTP server, the PIX goes into a dump.
Anyone else out there have a similar experience before I open a TAC case?
Thanks,

I've encountered the same problem on an ASA-5510 running 7.1.1 & 5.1.1. ASDM access was working for awhile, then after a reboot to fix a strange VPN problem I could no longer connect using ASDM. The ASDM launcher would get to 90% and hang "loading Home Page modules". I turned "http server enable" off and when I turned it back on the ASA crashed and rebooted twice before coming back up for good. It will now reboot everytime I enable HTTP server.
The crashinfo shows an error with https_proxy. I've submitted it to Cisco but haven't yet heard back.

I think while the activities are logged in, we can see the core dump at the message. So, in this scenario, did you try reload the pix and once again enable the ttp server again?.
If yes, can you send me a snapshot of the message you receive at the time the PIX goes into dump?. With that info you provide, i will be able to help you.

I did get a capture of the whole session. Once you enter the 'enable http server' command, there is a five second pause and the dump begins. Once the dump is completed, the PIX reboots. Same cycle repeates itself. I tried both PIX's (full and FO licenses) with the same result.
Where should I send the capture?
