Some advice on blocking instant messenger ports would be very helpful. I believe that a deny on 1863 tcp and udp will handle MSN. Am I coreect on that and what other ports need attention for such as AOL IM?

This has been asked numerous times on this forum before, so checking some old posts will assist you.
In addittion, http://testweb.oofle.com/messaging/index.htm has some good information about blocking IM's and file sharing programs.

You´re right it´s been asked a lot of times in the past but, many of them doesn´t work cause these messenger are moving constantly. That´s why we try to keep update to this information, so if you have new information on it we will appreciatte it.
