what are the commands to configure an interface as the outside interface on a router and leave all others as inside

ip inspect INSPECTNAME in
the easiest way to use that command is to set up your inspection rules and then apply that command on the inside interface.

can you be more specific? NAT? IOS Firewall? etc?
