I have a client using 515 firewall which has got no inside access list at all. Theoretically, in a stateful firewall as the pix, anything that is initiated from inside should be allowed (coz we dont have access-list) and session will be completed since they will be mathematically part of the sequence.
My question is, why i was not able to run the streaming video from an http site.

Hi,
It seems like PIX FW is not able to understand the streaming video (data) portion of an HTTP site.
Are there any syslog messages collected? What is the PIX version?
Is fixup protocl HTTP enabled?
streaming video over http, does it only works on port80 or there are any other ports involved?
Thanks

Hi Nadeem,
Its ver 6.3. Fixup protocols are defaults mean http is on port 80 and the proxy server is using 8080.
Thanks.

Hi,
May be we can try to get help from syslogs. Are there any syslogs being generated?
Thanks
Nadeem
