VPN3005`s RIP routing table issue !

Dear All,

Just got back from configuring the customer`s VPN3005. We got a "serious issue" with routing table of VPN3005 (or VPN3000 series in general). VPN3005 only accepts 199 routes exactly. No more no less. One more route advertised from the other router will be rejected by the VPN3000 and "routing table full" generated at the log. I didn`t aware about this table limitation, does it write down somewhere in the manual or FAQ ? Does anyone experience the same issue ? What about the other series of VPN3000, do they have the same limitation as VPN3005 ?

BTW, the VPN3005 is loaded with the latest v3.6.7

Would be very appreciate for any help !

Best Regards,

Engel

Hi,

You are right, the VPN3005 can hold a Max of 200 routes and this is by design.

You can refer the below URL for the FAQ:
