I'm looking for information on the placement of service on an ASR903.
Do you have internal switching on a Gigabit Ethernet Card or does it go to the RSP for packet switching?
Do you have internal cache on a Gigabit Ethernet Card?
Do you have ASICs power shared between multiple port?
I will use 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports on an ASR903 with 2 Gigabit Ethernet cards.
1 port (portA) will have heavy communication with an other one (portB). The third port will be mostly idle (port C).
Should portA and portB be on the same Ethernet card?
Should I use something like port0 and port4 on one card?
Should they be on different cards?
