Help needed with ISDN setup on the service provider side ???

I am setting up ISDN PRI connection with BRI connection. Need help with the configuration that needs to be done on the TELCO side. As we have the PRI connection with the TELCO and they want us to tell them the configuration that is required to set up the connection. We need to enable data transfer between the PRI and BRI connection. Somebody please help. I will be very grateful

Basically let them know how many digits they should pass to your pbx

Also what is the switch type you are using ni2 5ess etc

Also I am getting this error when trying to dial myself ( test calling oneself )

What is the problem and how to solve it from the TELCO side as i think there must be some problem with their configuration only.

Really appreciate it got it to work

I got all this information from the TELCO. Please suggest the correct configuration to run PRI

1.      Is the PBX designed for Pre-National or NI-2 protocol?     -

Protocol using   C7MATL

2.      Are there any DID station numbers that your CPE cannot accept?   -

No

(i.e. 0 or 9 in the 4th position)

3.      Which carriers will be your choices for your PIC and LPIC?  -

Carrier using DChannel

4.      How many outpulse digits does the PBX need to receive?      -   10

ditit   e.i   11 + 8 nos.

5.      What type of signaling is needed? (wink, delay, or immediate)  -

immediate

6.      The default outpulsing is DTMF. Is this compatible with your CPE? (Y

/ N)   -   DTMF Compatible

7.      What type of line encoding? (default is B8ZS)   -    TDM

8.      What type of framing? (default is ESF)       TDM
