Hi Guys
I have given a task to find if Catalyst 3560V2-24TS and Catalyst 3560G-24TS are compatible to each other.
Scenario:
can same config run on both the devices. we have customers few of them has 3560V2-24TS and others have 3560G-24TS. But we would like to stock only one model ..... which one should I stock that would take config from both of them.
Help needed!

Hey the config is really irrelevant as both are standard switches that will support any general switching config and the same IOS will run on either, the choice should be the eol status and the V2 model is supported until 2020 while the standard G model is only supported until 2018 , you should provide your customer with kit that will stay in support longer with Cisco as it saves them money and provides newer platform

If your looking at replacing 3750s standard or X model you should look at 3850s instead there the newer version with longer support , they do run ios-xe but its very similar to ios.
Some of the 3750s are already eol , the x series should still have support but the 3850 would be for few years longer

Thanks Mark.
