the Management ports of the DCM can not be used to stream video content, so each chassis needs at least a Gbe IO card to handle multiplex the video streams

How i can configure output streaming ?
Do i need multicasr or i an use unicast ?

Hi Emin,

Bot multicast and unicast can be used on the DCM output and input. You also have the possibility to use UDP or RTP.

Do i need configure all IGMP configuration on DCM or i can do it my routers ?
After configuring multicast ip address in my router then i can connect my DCM to this mulricast group ?

Hi Emin,

You will need to configure the multicast joins on your DCM to define what sources you need.

Of course you will also need to configure your router ports to enable multicast, configure PIM ...

When using unicast, you just need to stream your feed to one of the ip ports on the Gigabit ethernet card or 10 gig card.

you can use VLC to receive a transport stream.

Remark that an online help and manual is available on each DCM device.
