I want to deploy QOS on two cisco 6509 stacking by vss to limit the transmit rate of some applications.but when i deploy the service-policy on an port-channel interface.it says "MQC features are not supported in output direction for this interface",there is a same problem when i deploy the same policy on an 7609.the ios version information of 6509 is "s72033_rp Software (s72033_rp-ADVENTERPRISEK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2(33)SXI1",the ios version information of 7609 is "c7600rsp72043_rp Software (c7600rsp72043_rp-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 12.2(33)SRD2",is there a command can solve the problem or should i update the ios ?

Hello Jiyuan,
post the policy-map configuration to see what actions are configured on it.
see egress QoS restrictions
You can attach an output policy map to a Layer 3 interface (either a LAN port configured as a Layer 3 interface or a VLAN interface) to apply a policy map to egress traffic.
Note•
Output policies do not support microflow policing.
•You cannot apply microflow policing to ARP traffic.
•You cannot set a trust state in an output policy.
Hope to help
Giuseppe
