SCA reporter not getting connected to database

Hi,

I am running CM with bundled databse (version 3.5.5), now when i am trying to connect the reporter with database, it is not getting connected. It is giving an error: "mandatory preferance"ip of sce for policy data" is not set".

I am attaching the screenshot of that,

I have checked the /etc/hosts file and timezone settings, all is fine.

Would someone suggest the way to resolve the issue.

Hi,

you should re-apply (what a stupid solution) configuration to your SCE device. Then, shutdown and start again a reporter or SCA BB and now you should be able to see the SCE address.

Please note that you can retrive your current configuration from SCE and then just apply the same config again.

That would do the trick.
