Cisco (ISE) Identity Services Engine - Unable to log on

Hi

We are in the process of deploying two ISE on our wireless network.

We recently had to use the password recovery to get back into an ISE after the original installer hadn't unticked the 45 day expiry box. The password was changed once we were able to access this

After the recovery we then joined both the ISE together and are now not able to access either boxes via the logon screen. 

My questions are

1, Will I need to perform password recovery again and if so will the ISE's need to be separated?  If so how could this be completed if I am unable to log onto both the ISE's

2, Can I reset the password from the CLI command?

3, Do both ISE boxes need to have the same password if they are to be joined together?
