Failed to connect to server....

"Failed to connect to server. Please make sure you have a network connection...."

I get this error message after accessing the newly created lwapp ap template.

wlc (4.1.185) x 4.

wcs (5.1)

all 4 wlc's are identical after refreshing config from controller on the wcs is carried out.

able to access each wlc from the wcs.

there are more than a hundred ap's and i need to make the templates working or else i will do it piece by piece.

reset wcs... done!

reset the server... done!

... and still the error comes.

thanks for any inputs...:)

btw, this error doesn't appear on the autonomous ap templates.

There is a software incompatibility here: WCS 5.1 does NOT support WLC 4.1, as per the release notes:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/wcs/release/notes/WCS_RN5_1.html

I would suggest you the latest 4.2 WCS code if you are not planning to change the code on the WLC.

If you think about upgrading your WLC, then avoid WCS 5.1, and go to the latest 5.2 or 6.0.
