Gibraltar vs Amsterdan - which one to use

Could you advise which one I should use for our 9800-L Wireless Controller ?.

As per cisco advise -  Gibraltar-16.12.4a  still 5*

Depend on the features you looking for. If your APs are 9100 series, then I would suggest the latest 17.x.x (Amsterdam).

If you are not looking for the latest features and looking for a stable environment with Wave1/Wave2 APs, then staying with 16.12.x (Gibraltar) makes sense. TAC will not recommend any latest & greatest.. so their advice always comes from a supporting perspective & not feature richness.
