Cisco PTZ Camera - Return to Home After Inactivity

Hello,

I am trying to setup the Cisco PTZ camera to return to a designated home position after a period of inactivity. For example, a guard is using a PTZ to follow someone and they switch cameras. After 5 mins or so, I'd like the first camera to return to it's designated view. Is this possible, and can anyone provide some direction? Thanks in advance, much appreciated.

It sure is.  What version of VSM are you using?

I don't have a functional PTZ at the moment to show you, but under the PTZ configuration UI in VSOM, there is an "Advanced Settings" button that should allow you to set a 'Home' preset and defined 'rollback' time.

We are using 7.5.1, I don't seem to have the same tabs as you do, I attached the screenshot below. I am logged in as an admin, and this is a PTZ camera. Which version are you using? Thanks again, I appreciate the reply!!

:-(  I believe it's only been added in VSM 7.6 and onward :-S.  There *may* be a way to schedule a workaround to make a 'scheduled preset' happen in 7.5, but its pretty kludgy.
