CPAM URL Commands

Does CPAM require the web services licensing to allow URL commands to be sent to VSM?  I have device commands working as they should, but still cannot pull up video when a URL Automation Rule is invoked.

Thanks

You're able to get to the database right?  The VSM database is not opened up to remote connections by default.

To open it, log in to the server and run YaST.  Under Security and Users launch the Firewall module.  On the Allowed Services tab under Service to Allow, select MySQL Remote Access and click Add, then Next to finish.

CPAM sending a URL shouldn't require the web services license.  Going the other way, however, you need a license.

The API license allows Cisco VSM to post events to a CPAM URL. If the optional API license is not installed, API requests to the Cisco PAM server return an error.
