Network Admin

Level 1

I have  One Video Surveillance Operations Manager 7.0 and  One Video Surveillance Media Server 7.0.

The IP Cameras are 2830 IP cameras. Iam  new to IPVS Solutions.

Iam planning to configure DHCP Server  as Core Switch.Do i have to add

any other parameters to the DHCP POOL other than the below configs ?

ip dhcp pool IPCAM_POOL
   network 10.10.8.0 255.255.255.0
   default-router 10.10.8.1
   dns-server 10.12.0.10 10.12.0.11
   lease 0 0 1

Do i have to add something like below for IPCAM to get configs from VSOM/VSMS ?

   option 150 ip 10.10.0.60 10.10.0.61

Hello No need of the option 150, just make sure your cam get the ip and should be reachable from VSOM and VSMS that it . As cams are reside/ registered on media server however configurable from ops manager. Once cam get the IP address you can configure the in ops manager . Br, Nadeem
