Maps / floor plans viewing issues on VSOM 7.8

I just deployed a VSOM 7.8 but i have an issues with uploaded floor plans. I tried to use png and jpeg/jpg fromat of floor plans but none those floor plans are view able on the vsom or  SASD. I'm just getting  a blank page. Any ideas ?

Had the same issue with 7.7 earlier this year and it turned out to be incorrect DNS entries.

Are you running a maps server?

Yes, map server is up and running.

Same issue here and it seems like others had this problem before.

Running 7.8 with co-located maps server, uploading .png and .jpg files but no luck. Have restarted services and server as well.

Any solutions out there? Any further detail about the DNS fix involved for one user?

Thanks to Krishna C with the BU, got the fix- in the hosts file on my PC, I added the static mapping of the IP address and host name of the vsm/map server and that fixed it.

A full DNS environment would fix the problem too, I'm sure. Will try that for future projects.
