I have a 2930 camera in a Pelco housing unit and it is going to be mounted into a ceiling (no arm attachment) and I am having some difficulty trying to find the threaded piece to attach it to the ceiling. I did find 2 different ones that might work (links below) I was hoping that someone could verify that these will work for what I am trying to do.

Thats not possible without the cap CIVS-IPCA-1010. But still you need something in between.
Or you use the CIVS-IPCA-1006 and mount it directly on the ceiling. Without the 1006 it's not very easy and Cisco forgets to mention that it's not anymore part of the package as it used to be with the 2500 models.

For a 2930 you can use a Pelco SWM-GY wall mount. For ceilings this one may work but I haven't tested it.
