Problem in Integration Between CPAM & VSOM

Hi ,

I am using VSOM 6.3.2 & CPAM 1.3.2 .

But PTZ isn't working , When I open a PTZ camera ( Cisco IP camera 2935 ) and try to Pan or Zoom , It isn't working .

Any Advise ?

Hi, Have you obtained a full fix for this as i have the same issue.

I have been able to fix this temporarily by doing the following:

Opening the Hardware Module in CPAM and selecting the camera from the Cisco VSM Camera Driver.Double click and edit the cameraConfig. Copy encoder type detail and paste it in Camera model.

I have done this on all my PTZ on CPAM and initially it works, but I have selected the camera again and it has lost this piece of data. I suspect it is to do with how the CPAM imports the camera codec from VSOM.

Not sure, but last i heard when using VSM & CPAM together they need to have the same root/admin password by default to process events such as take a snapshot of door when opened.
