VSOM intergration into CPAM

Hey all

Just integrated a VSOM server into CPAM and the cameras are showing up alright but when trying to view live footage I'm getting a black screen.

CPAM - ver 1.5.3

VSOM - ver 7.7

Cameras - all 2.5.0

I did notice that the address for the cameras looks pretty long and repeats itself (attached pic)

Anyone seen this issue before?

Thanks

David

Hi David,

  • What is the status of the VSM driver, if its in UNKNOWN state >> restart the client and VSM driver.
  • check the java version, it should be updated to version 6.
  • Uninstall the Multipane client and re-install it by going to VSOM.

Regards,

Ramneet

Thanks Ramneeka

I have checked and the VSM driver is showing "Online" and all the cameras are present.

Java version is 8

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the multipane client.

Still have the same issue

Regards

David

FWIW - I haven't had much luck with anything Cisco using Java 8.  In fact, I've had to maintain Virtual Machines running Java7 just to support a lot of Cisco infrastructure.

Thanks Scott

Just tried it with Java downgraded to 7 and still the same issue

Sorry to hear that.  Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with CPAM at all, so I don't really have anything additional to offer :-(

Hope you get it figured out, and would still like to hear the details regardless.

Cheers!
