Hello,
I would like to set up a security system in the event of a fault on two RJ45 ports. I want to configure two trunk links between the RV345P router switch and the SG350-28MP switch.
On the Cisco SG350 switch side, I have followed this documentation https://www.cisco.com/c/fr_ca/support/docs/smb/switches/cisco-350x-series-stackable-managed-switches/smb5098-configuring-link-aggregation-groups-on-the-sg350xg-and-sg550.html.
On the Cisco RV345P side, I went to ‘LAN > Port Settings > Link Aggregation Configuration Table’> I selected ‘LAG 1 = LAN 8 and LAN16’ then I validated.
In ‘Vlans Settings’, I set the vlans from 10 to 60 to Taggues. Vlan 1 was set to Untaggue.
After validating and connecting the cables, I lost all communications.
Is the hardware compatible with the link aggregation configuration?
Thank you in advance for your help

- Start by checking the logs on both devices when that happens ; perhaps the better thing to do
is to configure a syslog server on them first. This gives you the opportunity to examine logs send
from those Cisco devices in case you can no longer connect to them when the communications are
lost,

Do I need to configure a syslog server?
The problem is that when I configure the lags, I lose all access.

- @GBInformatics - You need to configure the syslog server first on both devices , you won't loose access when doing
that. Then try your intended operations and examine the logs on the syslog server afterwards ,

Hi, I've set up a Graylog server to get logs but when I configure it, all the communications go down so no information comes up.
I didn't understand ‘Mr’.
Can I send you the configuration captures?

.
- Strange , are there any led indicators pointing to errors when that happens ?
- Attach a console to both devices and check what happens when the devices freeze.
- You may send the configuration captures.

Ah, I don't have a console cable. I do everything via the WEB interface.
Do you know if it is possible to configure a LAG on a Cisco RV345 P router?

- @GBInformatics From this guide it looks like LAG is supported : https://comtrade.ua/content/files/rukovodstvo-polzovatelja-eng_32627438.pdf?srsltid=AfmBOopHOBHzCrxXES-sxDc_D1XvnInjYUTGMdp6vwaedvcQKxqJPmPD
(look for LAG with find in the browser)
- If you it doesn't work and the devices freeze , the console access becomes mandatory and you
need to get a cable to be able to investigate what the device is reporting on the console !

Hello, here are a few screenshots to help you understand.
It's not totally active because afterwards I can't access anything. I prefer to ask first to see if it's configured correctly.

is this what logs are all about?
