I'm trying to upgrade a SRP 521W.

Current release:

Hardware Version: V01
Boot Version: 1.1.11 (Aug 21 2009 - 20:14:07)

Every time i start the process (tried different releases available on CCO) at 4% I get the error:

"Upgrade is failed"

Any help for me ?

Thanks Alessandro

Hey Alessandro,

Try a factory reset of the SRP before upgrading again.

Mail me directly if you still have problems.

Cheers

Andy

I am having the same problem and i have completed a factory reset and tried again. still not working beond 4%

Do you have tried the upgrade procedure via web menu?

Can you change the internet browser?

A second way to upgrade the device is to use the provisioning upgrade procedure. You must have a web or tftp server and use this url:

http://YOUR_SRP_IP_ADDRESS/admin/upgrade?tftp://YOUR_TFTP_SERVER/FIRMWARE_FILE

or

http://YOUR_SRP_IP_ADDRESS/admin/upgrade?http://YOUR_HTTP_SERVER/FIRMWARE_FILE

Regards.

I have used firefox, Crome and Safari.

thanks

Hi

Which release are you attempting to upgrade to?

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

1.1.26. I am on 1.1.11 and i have tried doing an order from

1.1.19

1.1.24

1.1.26

Still not working

Thank you

Hi Angus,

Do you have access to a Syslog server? It would be useful to see what logging messages are generated when this happens.  To configure, go to the Voice > System tab and select 3+Router from the dropdown list.  Then add the IP address of your Syslog server to the address fields.

Thanks,

Andy
