IPv6 on RV320/325 how does it work?

Hello there,

So for the whole day today ive been trying to figure out how this IPV6 stuff works with RV320/325.
My ISP gave me the following information:
IPV6 adres directly behind our modem:

Network adres: 2001:44f0:3071:0:0:0:0:0 ip subnet -mask: /64
Gateway ISP: 2001:44f0:3071:0:0:0:0:1 ip subnet -mask: /64
Free to use: 2001:44f0:3071:0:0:0:0:2 ip sunet mask: /64
till
Free to use: 2001:44f0:3071:0:ffff:ffff:ffff:fffe ip subnet mask: /64

IPV6 adres data behind router (example):

Networkadres: 2001:44f0:3071:1:0:0:0:0 ip subnet mask: /64
Gateway LAN: 2001:44f0:3071:1:0:0:0:1 ip subnet mask: /64
Free to use: 2001:44f0:3071:1:0:0:0:2 t/m 2001:44f0:3071:1:ffff:ffff:ffff:fffe subnet mask: /64

Now there are so many options on the RV series that im totally lost here.

- First of all you have under WAN settings (IPV6): LAN IPV6 Address, but what address should that be?

- Then under DHCP you can enable DHCPv6 and again it says LAN IPV6 address there, should that be the same as above or another IP? 
On that same page it talks about IPV6 address pool which it by default throws in there as soon as you add some IPv6 settings. Do i need to enter something else there or an addition?

Then I understood that Router advertisement does advertise the router to all clients, i have all that enabled with IPV6 address: 2001:44f0:3071:1::
Is that correct or should that be something else?

The reason im asking is cause clients keep saying fe80: address as router gateway for some strange reason, while clients do get correct IP's.

When i go to statistics of the router i see (for some reason) it now has 2 ip adresses:

2001:44f0:3071:0:ffff:ffff:ffff:fffe and an fe80: address. why?

While the above link is related to RV0xx, the UI and configuration tasks are pretty similar to RV320.

Hi I read through all that but there are still questions to be answered :)

- Under Router advertisement you write to specify the broadcast IP address you want to broadcast (under Prefix Table), but should that be the range or a real IP Address. So: 2001:44f0:3071:1:: or 2001:44f0:3071:0:0:0:1 or something else in our case?

Are you referring to Step 3?

Step 3. Enter the IPv6 address of the network that you want to broadcast in IPv6 Address field.

It should be the LAN interface IPv6 address that you want to advertise. This would be the address the clients in the network use to route their IPv6 packets to.

I am also facing similar issues in IPv6 setup on RV320.

Were you able to resolve your queries and get it working?

Can you guide on what the LAN IPv6 addresses should be in WAN connections and DHCP Server settings?

The above mentioned article has not helped me much with my query.

In RV320, when we setup WAN1 statically, there is LAN IPV6 Address, but what address should that be?

- Then under DHCP you can enable DHCPv6 and again it says LAN IPV6 address there, should that be the same as above or another IP? 
On that same page it talks about IPV6 address pool which by default gives a IP pool corresponding to the LANIP entered undered WAN settings. Do i need to enter something else there or an addition?

I just want help with the LAN settings on the router so that I can configure my LAN devices.

The LAN IPv6 Addres is the Global IPv6 prefix that was assigned by your ISP for your LAN devices

Prefix as in the range or the IP Address?
