Hello
I have setup site to site VPN connection between two RV340 routers with just single Vlan on both sides and it works great.
Recently we created 2 Vlan in Site "B" and the connection still working but I found out that the Vlan2 in Site "B" can't ping the Vlan in Site "A".
How can I setup the Vlan 1 & 2 in Site "B" can ping the Vlan in Site "A"??
Please someone give me some rough idea on how should I setup this one.
Thanks

Hi
Supposing that your deployment is as below:
(vlan1-subnet)----[RV340-GW1](wan1)-----{internet-isp-router}-------(wan1)[RV340-GW2]---(van1/vlan2-subnets)
On GW1:
vlan1-subnet is 192.168.1.0/24
On GW2:
vlan1-subnet is 192.168.2.0/24
Note: you need to change the default vlan1 subnet on GW2 to 192.168.2.x (or any other suubnet other than 192.168.1.x...if you want to have s2s-tunnel to RV340-GW1)
vlan2-subnet is 192.168.4.0/24
----------------------------------
So before configuring the S2S tunnel on both GWs, do the following:
Step-1:
On GW1:
In system-management/ip-groups page of GUI, configure a remote-ip-group as below:
name: remoteGW2grp1
ip-subnet1: 192.168.2.0/24
ip-subnet2: 192.168.4.0/24
- apply and save it
Step-2: On GW2
In system-management/ip-groups page of GUI, configure a local-ip-group as below:
name: LocalGW2grp1
ip-subnet1: 192.168.2.0/24
ip-subnet2: 192.168.4.0/24
- apply and save it
Step-3: On GW1 configure the S2S tunnel, with the below settings included
Local-IP-Type: Subnet
- enter the vlan1 subnet 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
Remote-IP-Type: IP-Group
- select the remoteGW2grp1
All other settings are as configured before for single subnet tunnel
Step-4: On GW2 configure the S2S tunnel, with the below settings included
Local-IP-Type: IPGroup
- select the LocalGW2grp1
Remote-IP-Type: Subnet
- enter the GW1-vlan1 subnet 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
All other settings are as configured before for single subnet tunnel
NOTES:
- although you may have already configured as such...but no harm done in repeating it again
a) Ensure to configure the Default-Gw ipaddr (of the respective subnets) pointing to the respective ipaddress configured on RV340s
Hope this is useful..
