Hello
Lately (after upgrading to 1.0.2.1 and 1.0.2.4) I have been seeing these particular errors in my syslog server:
10.0.0.1 01/02/11 17:54:47 08/24/11 12:54:58 kernel Warning rv220w "KERNEL [Kernel] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK"
10.0.0.1 01/02/11 17:54:47 08/24/11 12:54:58 kernel Warning rv220w "KERNEL [Kernel] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK"
10.0.0.1 01/02/11 17:53:42 08/24/11 12:53:53 kernel Warning rv220w "KERNEL [Kernel] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK"
10.0.0.1 01/02/11 17:53:42 08/24/11 12:53:53 kernel Warning rv220w "KERNEL [Kernel] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK"
10.0.0.1 01/02/11 17:05:42 08/24/11 12:05:53 kernel Warning rv220w "KERNEL [Kernel] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK"

10.0.0.1 01/02/11 16:05:36 08/24/11 11:05:48 kernel Warning rv220w "KERNEL [Kernel] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK"

And the list just goes on and on .. Every 1h my WAN connection is unavailable for a short while, eventhough the router seems to have kept the connection:
Connection Time: | 2 Days 16:44:25 |
I'm running on a Packetfront DRG 200 mediaconverter in front of the RV220W, fibre optics, with a DHCP address.
What can be the cause of this?
Best regards

John,
I need for you to do a factory reset since you have upgraded firmware. Manually add your configuration back. You can backup your configuration just for disaster recovery option; but don't reload unless manually configure failed.
This should resolve your issue.
If not please give us a call @ 1-866-606-1866
Thanks,

Hi
I did the 1.0.2.1 settings manually, and also had the problem there .. Granted, my 1.0.2.1 settings got imported onto 1.0.2.4..
I'll do as proposed and report back

So ... almost done with configuration, right ... But now I'm not able to set logging for a syslog server anymore .. It tells me that "A critical error encountered while loading web page" ... So that's fantastic
I'm gonna reload my settings from a file now

Henrik,
I'm encountering the same problem but I'm running on FW 1.0.3.5.
Did you finally fix the problem? If yes, how did you fix it?

Hi there,
Hope that someone from support is reading this thread, problem is getting on my nerves.
Did a Factory Reset on firmware 1.0.35. and manualy entered my config (took me over 3 hours!!, is complex) and same result.
Connection drops every 7 minutes syslog reports:
[Kernel] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK
Can Cisco please give some notice when this issue can resolved?

If it still matters.... get hundreds of these error messages per day with FW 1.0.4.17.

Hi, the PNAC error is an 802.1x extension that applies to 802.11 WLAN connectivity using EAPOL pdu through wpa/wpa2
So... out of curiosity, what happens using WEP or no security on the wireless?

Hi, this is not possible. The router is in use.
