RV340 SNMP Broken after 1.0.02.16 update

SNMP Seems to be broken after updating the Firmware to 1.0.02.16 from 10.0.01.20

Before the WAN Bytes in and out MIBs where:

WAN 1

1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6.5

1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10.5

WAN2

1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6.6

1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10.6

These no longer seem to exist after the update.

I found these but they show the same for in and out!

Hi, did you solve this problem?
I'm experiencing exactly the same thing.

I didn’t find a solution it seems to be a bug and the firmware has since been updated and still has the same problem.
No-one ever replied to my post. Kinda disappointed as it used to work before the 1.0.02.16 update and I used it to monitor the WAN data used.
I can only assume Cisco don’t think it’s a priority to fix.

Disappointed indeed.

Well, I opened a case at Cisco, an engineer is assigned and it seems the case will be "escalated"...

Let's see, keep you informed if I have any news.

In my next maintenance window, I'll downgrade the firmware.

Thanks for raising a case I am just a home user not a business so don’t think I have that option.
I did role mine back initially and it worked fine for about a month then:

I powered off one of the VDSL modems while doing some work and the WAN port would not come back online.
I then rebooted the router and both WAN ports would then not come backup.
I then reset the router re-did the config again and both WAN ports came up.
As a test I rebooted the router and both WAN ports would not come up again.

At that point I updated the firmware again and the WAN ports are stable but SNMP is not working.
I have since updated the firmware to 1.0.03.15 but alas still no SNMP but the WAN ports are still stable.

Good to know, no downgrade then...

Got an e-mail now, they acknowledge the problem and escalated, will release a new firmware!

Just don't know when.

That is good news thanks for chasing this. It seems unless you have a business account getting support is not very easy.
I look forward to the update at some point :-)

Hello again,

FYI I have just updated my router to 1.0.03.16 and SNMP is still broken :-(

Cheers,

 Ralph

Hello,

Thank you for testing. No mention of this issue on release notes. It seems
they don't care about it.
