WRVS4400N needs to be manually connected when the power is recycled after power failure. Is there a setting to connect an IPSEC VPN automatically, instead of manually going in to connect the VPN

Hi Doug, thank you for using our forum, my name is Luis I am part of the Small business Support community. I apologize for this inconvenience, in this case, please follow the advice bellow:

1. Disable the keep Alive.

2. Disable the Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS).

3. Try to use Main Mode instead Aggressive mode.

I hope you find this answer useful

Greetings,

Will this reconnect after a power failure? That is all I need it to do.  The only problem is that there are three stores that connect back to the main store server. They are constantly using the vpn to use their software on the main server. If I make these changes on one, do I need to make the changes on all the stores which are set up exactly the same way and don't have a problem. They are not using cisco products, they are using watchguard.

Hi Doug, I am sorry for the delay, in this case you just need to apply these changes to this router with the issue, if it works for you, please let me know.
