1 GigE WAN module for 2900, 3900 router

Hi,

I am in search of a 1 Gig Ethernet WAN module for 2900, 3900 series router.

I want to terminate 230mbps link on this module.

I found EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU option but as per service provider it will not support to 230mbps link.

Request you to share some details asap.

Routers come with 3 Gigabit interfaces already, so you do not need another one.

Then related to performances, you will need probably a 3925e or 3945e the speed mentioned.

You best choice is to have this handled by an expert, do not try to take decisions by yourself.

Yeah router already comes with 3 Gig Interface but I am searching for additional module. Also one module on which we can terminate fiber link. (230 mbps).

That is the only module that can be used. Altough in reality most people use switches for additional ports.

Then performances of the router in relation to circuit speed is another matter. Performances depedns on the router, not the module.
