Did you check the memory requirements for the IOS and make sure that the router has enough memory and also that there is enough space in flash for the IOS image ? Also when you copied the image across to router did the checksum pass ?

Hi,
Well you were trying to upload the config file and it may be that the baud rate was set to different in the config file then the one u r using. Have you tried changing the baud rate on your terminal emulation program. Pls do that. It may be that IOS is corrupt.
Steps for recovery in case if nothing happens after changing the baud rate :
1 reload the router, CTRL+break to break into rommon.
2. when u in rommon mode, type help to see what all commands are available. We are looking for commands either xmodem or tftpdnld.
3. If you have TFTPDNLD command then its very easy to upload the new IOS on the router.
follow this DOC.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_tech_note09186a008015bf9e.shtml
4. If tftpdnld is not there then you have to xmodem the IOS file to the flash.
Please check the memory requirement for the IOS image.
Please get back for any concern.
