Hi all,
I have a 1812J with 128M RAM, now I want to upgrade it to 256M.
I read the data sheet ... it said that the 1812 have 1 slot .... and build-in 128M or newer model 256M already ...
I am wonder do the 128M build-in is on the motherboard or it just pluged in the slot already?
And do this RAM is DDR 266MHz notebook RAM??? I am plan using 3rd RAM module for this Cisco 1812J, since it is for my CCNA learning using. So the more price cheap for me is the best.
Any suggestion where I can find 3rd RAM for this 1812J
Thank you very much of your time and answer.

You can expand DRAM according 1800 manual. I've compared 1800 manual and 1818J Japanese manual and concluded they are same. Here is manual for 1800.
Please follow "Installing and Removing DIMM" section. About 3rd part memory, unfortunately, I cannot answer that.
