2611 doesn't load config on reload

Hi

I had to do a password recovery on my 2611 router, this seemed to go okay, and I managed to do this without wiping the config. However, when ever I reload the router, I get the 'initial configuration yes/no' question, and my config is not running!

I can 'copy startup running', and then issue 'no shutdown' on the interfaces, but it's very annoying!

Does anyone know what this could be?

hi

do remember to change the config-register back to 0X2102 which will solve your problem.

feel its 0X2142 at present which is getting u into this situation..
