I have a brand new 2900 router and it comes with Cisco CP pre-installed. During the initial configuration (I do not actually use CCP, only putty) I changed the username and password, but before I could delete the default cisco user a hair-on-fire event pulled me away from the putty session and it timed out, leaving me permanently locked out.
The router now displays mockingly the warning:
IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE PUBLICLY-KNOWN CREDENTIALS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE
TO LOG INTO THE DEVICE AGAIN AFTER YOU HAVE LOGGED OFF.
So, where can I find the procedure to factory default the 2900 series routers?
Thanks
Joerg
