I have just purchased a Cisco 2901 and a EHWIC-4ESG.
Its running c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M6.bin
EHWIC-4ESG requires 15.1(2)T.
I'm the Cisco site how do I know which of the following I want to upgrade to?
15.2.1T(ED)
15.2.1-GC(ED)
15.1.4M1(ED)
15.1.3T2(ED)
15.1.2-GC1(ED)
15.0.1M7(MD)
I have tried Google to figure it out but with no joy.
I know ED stands for early. But what does T, GC and M stand for?
Which should I pick?

Characters outside of the ():
T - Technology - new technology/features
GC - Special and early deployment - special new features
M - Main line
Characters inside of the ()
ED - Early deployment
MD - Major deployment - stable code
How to pick the code will depend on your situation and features required. If features are in the T train, you don't have a choice to use any stable M train code.

For your WIC to work, you need either the 15.2.1T, or 15.1.3T2 from the list. However, you can go down the list and specifically look for 15.1(2)T.

Thanks both.
Now I just need Cisco to activate my SMARTNet so I can download the IOS.
Got all this kit and I can't use it.
