3700 router & multi t-1s

My question is 2 parts mainly since I am unfamiliar with this new router.

The Cisco site thusfar has not provided me with either an example config for this type of setup that we might work from. I was advised from a consultant to purchase this one to fullfill our needs. We have purchased a 3725 series router in order to utilize more than 1 t-1 for our office for redundency. We will be using 3 t-1s into our office. 1 Verizon and 2 MCI lines.

1. How can I config this router to either share the outbound bandwidth or either setup some kind of redundancy if the first of second line go down and keep the 3rd line dormant until needed.

2.How can we point all three lines to a 505 firewall through a switch whithout having gateway issues with multiple outbound t-1s.

If someone could point to some correct samples that would be very helpfull.

Thanks

Jace

Hi

do revert back about the Public IP address space being used in your local network i.e.,configured on the outside interface of your pix if you are having one currently.

if you are up with own address space would suggest to go for BGP between ur SPs.

you can always have ur peering with ur loopback ip and have automatic load balancing on ur 2 mci lines if both of ur links are terminated on the same router at the mci end too..

And also the same kinda mechanism with your verizon link too.

i would suggest to have look onto this to have better clarity on BGP multihoming funda..
