HI Guys,
I need to use 3750 for a lot of BGP sessions. the maximum routes will be around 500 but there needs to be about 100 IBGP sessions on just one 3750. there won't be problems with configs 'cause i will be using peer group but i don't know if 100 IBGP sessions will kill this box. can anyone tell me if the 3750 will capable of doing this? the maximum traffic expected will be 300 Mb

Hello,
I would not recommend it. The TCAM is pretty small on these boxes and the max amount of memory you can get for unicast routes is 20K. Any router that is going to support 100 BGP sessions should be beefier than a 3750.
If, however, you insist on trying it I would at minimum toggle the SDM profile to routing.

Thanks,
I am not particularly bothered by the memory because i don't have many routes. maximum of 500 routes (5 routes per peer) I am only concerned about the CPU.
if it can handle the number of peers.
