Hi;
am downloading 3825 security IOS there are two IOS of advance security, am confused what’s the difference in both Advance Security Image
ADVANCED SECURITY c3825-advsecurityk9-mz.124-15.T7.bin

They are the same thing. One is named upgrade for whatever marketing reason.

I did compared the two IOS images (if there are two actually) side by side on the Cisco support page and there is no difference.
I think just the naming is different, but to be honest I could not find any explanation. Maybe it has something to do with sells department (something like OS OEM).
If somebody could clarify more on this topic, I would be also interested.

I also did the same thing over Cisco support page but found no difference.
appreciate if somebody can answer why they have two different names of same IOS with same features and moreover IOS size is same :P

AS Paolo and I already said, this can be a marketing or a sales thing. It's strange that I could not find any document to explain the name.

These are upgrade part numbers used at the time of purchase to get a different feature set from what the bundle comes with.
Unless you're a Cisco partner, you can ignore all that.
If would be good however if cisco could remove the duplicates from the download system.

Yes, both IOS are same but due to some reasons Cisco named them differently.
