6509-E and Supervisor Engine 2

Hi People

I need to resolve a temporary situation and i was wondering if a chasis 6509E is able to support an Sup 2 that i have resting in a cabinet. I cant find any information that specifically say it cant support it.

Any advice would be value.

Hello,

AFAIK only the 6509-V-E does not support the legacy SUPervisor modules like 1A and 2. So you will have no problem with this configuration 6509-E + Sup2.
