857 BigPond ADSL2

I have a 857 modem which I would like to get operational for my adsl conection BigPond ADSL2  PPoA  VCMUX  G.DMT

I have continul problems with consumer modems slowing down with SNR margin increasing from around 15 with download of 8000000 to currently 32 with download of 2656000 a reboot will usually fix this

I can get it to conect to the internet and access DNS but I have not been able to get NAT working and therefore access via the fast eithernet ports to the internet.  DHCP would be nice for the couple of devices I need to connect directly with a LAN IP 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0

I dont need anything fance just a basic fixed IP ADSL conection to the fast eithernet ports as I have a firwall/gateway server attached which provides security and DHCP for my small network.

Any help would be appreciated as I had never seen IOS before I got this modem

As I dont have a suport contract I cant download the latest firmware/software and would be lost upgrading at this point.

Are you using SDM?

Please change asap the username and password if you did not do that already.

If I remember correctly the nat command you need is

ip nat inside source 100 interface dialer0 overload

then you need access list 100

permit ip 10.10.10.0 0.0.0.7 any

Why you are using /28 network for you inside?
