Hello

I have host(notebook) in my lan with ip 10.1.1.2/24 , I have a router which do NAT from LAN to WAN with address 10.1.1.1/24(LAN int) and 3.3.3.3/30(WAN int) and I have a mail server with LAN address 10.1.1.3/24

On my router I have NAT rule

ip nat inside source static tcp 10.1.1.3 110 3.3.3.3 110

My Notebook 10.1.1.2 mail client configured for pop3 server 3.3.3.3 for working from home and so on..., when I come back to my LAN  I want my notebook connect to my mail server directly to 10.1.1.3:110, can I DNAT my packet on 10.1.1.1/24 interface to change destination , and SNAT returned packet ?

thanks

Simply change your mail client configuration to 10.1.1.3 as the mail server. Depending on the mail client, you can have multiple servers. You can create an account to use when connecting from the outside and another account when connecting from the inside.
