ADSL over POTS max speed

Hi, anyone know max speed of ADSL over POTS interface on Cisco 1801 router, thought it was 10Mb but want clarity

ADSL method does supports 9Mbps bandwidth on downstream and 1Mbps on upstream .

have a look at

In section 2.1.3 it says that ADSL2+ is now supported with speeds up to 24 Mbps. "Normal" ADSL does hardly ever reach more that 8 Mbps in a real world environment.
