After installing the card, I configured :
controller T1 10/3/0
mode atm aim 1
framing esf
clock source internal
linecode b8z
But show controllers indicated it was down as follow. did that mean the card is faulty? or maybe a circuit problem? Anything I was missing?

first thing, why is clock source internal? change it to line.

Possible faulty circuit, or remote down.

Also, can you post your config that includes the "clocking" commands. More specifically, I am looking to see if your aim module is set to participate in the clocking process. The command would be like this:
network-clock-participate aim 1
