I am having ASR 1001-X in production and having more sub-interfaces. all the sub interfaces have service policy input and output (Policy maps) for bandwidth limitation.
Recently I have removed service policies from one sub interface for testing purpose. After the testing, I have applied policy maps back in sub interface. The sub interface accepts both input and output policies but show run interface shows only input policy. It is not showing output policy.
I have deleted the policy maps and created new policy map. Even after that the same. I tried applying another policy map as well. It is not showing in sh run as well.
Also it is not accepting policymap output for new subinterfaces as well.
Could you guys check and help to resolve this
Thanks,
Selva

Hello,
try and configure a parent policy in which you refer to the child policy (your original policy):
policy-map PARENT_POLICY
class class-default
service-policy CHILD_POLICY
Then try to apply the parent policy out on the subinterfaces...

Hi Georg,
Thanks for your time for helping me.
I tried the below, created parent policy for output as you told. And applied on the sub-interface. But It is not showing in the running sub-interface.
Please note that service policy input was accepting and showing in run sub-interface without any issue.
Could you please help me further.
Thanks,
Selva
