ASR OTV

Hi,

Customer is running OTV between 2 DC’s (DC-1 & DC-2) with unicast adjacency servers located at DC-2 for approx 4 VLANS.

We now need to introduce DC-3 for a limited time which will have p2p connections to DC-1 and span the 4 VLANS between all DC’s.

Do I simply ensure there is a routed path from DC-3---DC-2 via DC-1 and configure DC-3 ASR to use the adjacency servers at DC-2 meaning there is no OTV configuration at DC-1?

is this connetion you looking meshed or only you need OTV between DC3 and DC2 ??

Thanks for your reply.

For this situation, we actually only need OTV between DC-3 (new) to DC-1 where the new p2p circuits terminate.

I forgot to mention that the ASR's are "on a stick" and not in-line.

If a fully meshed solution was required, but would we possibly have to do different?
