Hi I tried "show route x.x.x.x/x detail" command but the output didn't include the community value. Is there a different command to verify that information?

nvermind found it-- we can do sh bgp x.x.x.x/x and that will show the community associated with it

You can also remember the format of the commands as below:
show bgp <afi> <safi> <prefix>, where AFI can ipv4, ipv6, vpnv4, vpnv6 or any other address-family and the SAFi value can be either unicast or multicast based on what you have configured.
Hope this helps.
