ASR9006 firmware upgrade path and procedure.

Cheers

I am looking for information on the steps to follow to perform the firmware upgrade of an ASR9006. In addition, what would be the path to follow to upgrade to firmware 7.4.2. Currently the ASR9006 is at 4.2.3. In the firmware 7.4.2 documentation it tells me that the minimum is 6.6.3. But I couldn't find path information from 4.2.3 to 6.6.3.

I would appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you

its hard to say what model the device. 4.2 was very old version (not sure TAC take any incidents on this )

i have done some upgrade 6.X onwards to 7.X higher.

as i remember you need to 4.2.X to 5.X  and 6.X  and 7.X Long path upgrade.

suggest to raise TAC case also for suggestion (if this is critical device in the network) - this may break when you do ROMMON and SMU patches.

Thanks for the information. Currently my ASR9006 is at 4.2.3. My question is more about what is the path I should take to upgrade to 6.6.3. Or can I directly upgrade from 4.2.3 to 6.6.3?

Thanks in advance
