ASR920 file copy is extremely slow

Hi all

I have a few ASR920 in my network and have noticed several times that an IOS file download to the local flash is extremely slow. It doesn't matter if the ASR920 is connected to a 100Mbit or 10G link and if the source is FTP or SCP.
For the download of an IOS file I need 30 minutes and more.

497887159 bytes copied in 2670.264 secs (186456 bytes/sec)

Is there any way to speed this up? Is this because the flash from the ASR920 is so slow when writing or is it possibly a "security feature" that the CPU is not overloaded?

I am grateful for any idea.

This may the cause of the observed slowness as you have noted that regardless of link speed of using FTP or SCP the times are high.
