Basically, it's just a Cisco measurement how demanding (bandwidth?) different 7200 module cards are.

Cisco sets a (it's supported) limit, on maximum bandwidth points for a set of module cards, per bus (left/right module card slots).

If you exceed the supported capacity, the IOS will tell you it's not a supported (hardware usage) configuration.  However, it may, or may might work.  If it doesn't work, well it just doesn't.
