All,
I just have a quick question about the below statement from Cisco's BGP Design & Implementation book.
— If the injected BGP route (using the network or redistribute command) is
from a connected route, the BGP MED is set to 0.
Would a static route to an interface or null0 be considered a connected route in the context of the above statement?
Any insight would be extremely helpful!

A static route pointing to null 0 would be considered a connected route in the routing table, but after all is still a static route. So in the above context I would say the MED would be 0.
